The acrylic lids make the Rowen play clearer somehow. It's as if a certain nastiness is gone.

Last night we had a three-hour listening session, of course without the cabinet cover. First of all, the sound was much better, more detail, dynamics, resolution etc. (you'd have to invent new words), and the unit is no longer as warm on the top, the temperature is dissipated better without the cover, the old metal cover seems to constrict everything and heat it up unnecessarily. If the acrylic cover works in a similar way as it does now (apart from the great look), that means a clear step forward!

The acrylic housing fits perfectly. The sound is, after first impression, very good despite the "cold" amp, the nervousness of the sheet metal housing seems to have been eliminated. Many thanks for the great work, especially in the detail with the bevels and overlaps, simply perfect!

I have had the internal wiring kit installed in the speakers for several weeks now and the music system has been on non-stop for 2 weeks and the cables are burned in I think ... Yesterday I switched back to the old internal wiring and what can I say, with well-known music pieces I immediately heard that there is a lot missing and the sound is nowhere near as clear and detailed as with your internal wiring kit. I would say that it's another world what you can hear there and I can only absolutely recommend to exchange it in speakers. A phenomenal sound of naturalness can be heard there.

No matter which way I turn it, the silver foil cable is worlds better in my setup. (note: as the copper version). I would not have thought what a big influence the high frequency range has on the overall sound. The difference with the XLR foil cable was also so striking... (note: compared to the copper version) I think we can't avoid replacing another copper foil cable with the silver version... :-)

After the cables had settled in, my initial assessment that I had come to the right place was confirmed. The cables deliver a fantastic clarity of the musical performance without disjointed details. What happens in the studio or on stage is presented in a very consistent and involving way. With these cables, there is much more going on to the left and right outside the speakers, especially in details. At the beginning, the bass range might sound a bit thinner than usual, but this is due to the increased precision and the calmness of the music signal. At first listen-in, the difference compared to other cables of competitors was hefty, but of course not yet as balanced than with a burned-in cable: distinctly dynamic sound with an open and airy high-frequency range, very detailed reproduction of timbres and subtones (e.g. the rustle of sheets in symphony orchestra recordings while turning pages of the score or the noise of the recording equipment). I never heard a new interconnect so clearly between pre-amp and power-amp! Now, after burn-in and after I have criss-crossed my music library for a week serveral hours a day, I can tell you, that your silver foil interconnect never sounds annoying or harsh, but very neutral, open and from deep bass to super high-frequency highly defined and lively. Also the initial auditory effects have settled-in. It passes on the musical signal very homogeneous: of course you get used to that very quickly so you tend to check that aha-effect by switching back to the former interconnect. Your diy-kit is extremely cheap and makes hungry for more!

I would say, that copper foil speaker cable can certainly offer something. Definitely! In peculiar the timbres. Fairly intense. The resolution in the midbass also is unusually present. The spatiality is better / more differentiated than with my current cable. Highs a tiny bit less pronounced. That absolutely fits in my set-up. All in all it radiates great tranquility. Beautiful! I'm really eager how it will sound when burned-in.

The TentLabs XO came yesterday, very quickly and safe! In a couple of hours was adapted to my Burson low jitter module (used before in a Revox B226) and working inside of my beloved Revox B225 now. Damit hab ich dann alle Verbindungen auf Ihr Silberfolienkabel umgerüstet und die Anlage bzw. die Musik ist nicht mehr wiederzuerkennen. Es groovt, hat Attacke, eine Natürlichkeit und Raumstaffelung in Breite und Tiefe, die ich so, selbst von Silberkabeln der Konkurrenz, noch nicht erlebt habe. Das Thema Cinch- und LS-Kabel haben sich für mich endgültig erledigt, in der Beziehung bin ich angekommen.

Was soll ich sagen. das war das erste kabel, das vom fleck weg sehr gut klang obwohl frisch verlötet. normalerweise müssen sich neuinstallationen erst mal mindestens 30-40 minuten freispielen sonst klingt alles recht kratzig. hier keine rede davon. sofort waren eine beeindruckende räumlichkeit und viele details zu hören. bin noch immer fasziniert. zuerst dachte ich, dass der bass etwas verhalten sei. meine alten verwandten kabel machen da mehr druck. aber nach etwa 3 stunden kann ich jetzt sagen, dass diese eher a-rhythmisch polterten und deine folien viel besser den groove transportieren, also bass und schlagzeug viel mehr an einem ende des seils gemeinsam ziehen als gegeneinander und sich der sinn von musikstücken, die ja zumeist auf dem fundament der unteren register basieren, ganz natürlich und selbstverständlicher erschließt. ich bin begeistert und bin schon ganz gespannt was sie nach vlt. 50 stunden offenbaren.

Hi Matthias, habe nun das Kabel fertiggestellt, ist schon ein Stück Arbeit, man versteht den Preis eines fertigen. Doch der Klang lässt einen die Mühe schnell vergessen: sagenhaft! Klingt analoger, natürlicher, mit mehr Autorität, groovt mehr, das Ensemble spielt besser zusammen, alles ist entspannter, mehr Raumtiefe, die Zuordnung der Musiker ist richtiger, es singt mehr ... Manche Aufnahmen, die man als digital klingend abgestuft hat, kommen jetzt feiner aufgelöst daher und klingen interessant, selbst eine Denon CD aus den 80er Jahren. Der gelegentliche Wunsch nach einem Plattenspieler tritt zurück. Offenbar ist manche Kritik am digitalen Medium nicht diesem geschuldet, sondern der Wiedergabekette.

Das Kabel konnte sich derweil einspielen und entfalten. Die Räumlichkeiten der Musik, sprich das Bühnenbild, haben sich positiv verändert. Das Chinch-Kabel habe ich zum Vergleich immer wieder mal gegen das alte Kabel getauscht , so bin ich mir sicher dass das Silberkabel deutlich detaillierter und angenehmer spielt. Der Bass ist trockener und die Höhen präziser, so macht Musik hören Spaß.

Das Folien Lautsprecherkabel von Ihnen ist nun gut eingespielt, ich denke es benötigt 30 Std.++ Einspielzeit. Das Ergebnis ist beeindruckend, Tiefenstaffelung, Dynamik und Raumabbildung sind so realistisch, man muss es gehört haben, in Worte kann ich es nicht beschreiben, ein Traum. In meiner LS-Frequenzweiche sind Duelund Cu Kondensator, sowie Duelund Ag Widerstände und Wachsfolien-Spulen mit Silberdraht verbaut. Erst jetzt, mit Ihren NF- und LS-Folienkabel, ist es zu hören wie gut diese Bauteile in Wirklichkeit sind. Ich hatte Kabel von vielen Top-Hersteller wie z.B. NF- und LS-Kabel "CARDAS Reference" oder KIMBER, die Folienkabel von Ihnen Herr Kurz sind für mich das BESTE...nochmal herzlichen Dank!

Das NF-Kabel mit den Silberfolien schien mir erschwinglich und als Experiment interessant. Langer Rede kurzer Sinn, nach einer 20 stündigen Einspielaktion war klar – es gibt keinen Weg zurück. Störende Artefakte, Unannehmlichkeiten im Mittenbereich, ein künstlicher Überzug der Töne, wohl alles Effekte des Dielektrikums, verschwanden. Die Wiedergabe war natürlicher und subjektiv schneller. Klasse!
Dann mußte das LS-Kabel her. Alles was mit dem NF-Kabel passierte, verstärkte sich hier nochmals. Und ich dachte da wäre keine Verbesserung mehr möglich. Wunderbar! Man sollte jedoch beachten das sich hier die Einspielzeit wesentlich verlängert. 100 h sind wohl durchaus, je nach Kette, möglich. Also nicht verzagen, weiter warten. Auch die Laufrichtung kann sehr großen Einfluß auf das Ergebnis haben.
Mittlerweile habe ich auch die Innenverkabelung des Verstärkers ausgetauscht – wieder mit dem selben Ergebnis!
Die Musik blüht auf, der Raum wird größer, die Instrumente sind in das Ereignis eingebettet und haben trotzdem „Luft“ um sich. Meine größte Sorge, das die Wiedergabe durch Silber hell und unangenehm analytisch wird, hat sich völlig in Luft aufgelöst. Im Gegenteil, die Nordostkabel waren "kühler" und unausgeglichener, möglicherweise eine Auswirkung der Silberbeschichtung der Cu-Leiter und der Teflonumhüllung.
Fazit: Ihre Kabel haben meine, für mich hochwertige Kette, jetzt erst richtig perfekt abgestimmt; da ist ne Bremse raus! Vielen herzlichen Dank!

Das Tuning des ATTRACTION DAC ist ein voller Erfolg. Die erheblichen Mehrkosten für die DUELUND-CAST-Koppelkondensatoren haben sich wirklich gelohnt. Dieser DAC wird sicherlich eine ganze Weile bei mir sein Zuhause haben. Ich habe sehr sehr selten einen DAC gehört, der so natürlich, körperhaft, dynamisch und räumlich spielt. Und das mit "normaler" CD-Auflösung. Da ich auch langjähriger LP-Fan bin, habe ich einen guten Vergleich und behaupte, der DAC mit einem excellenten Zuspieler kann problemlos mit einer sehr guten Analogsektion mithalten. Ich finde es unfassbar, was auf vielen alten CDs an Musik enthalten ist und ich einfach bisher nicht wahrnehmen konnte. Eine ganz hervorragende Arbeit!

Guten Abend Herr Kurz,der Bausatz Ihres Folien-NF-Kabels hat etwas länger gedauert, es soll ja auch nicht an der nötigen Sorgfalt liegen. Das Kabel ist seit ca.6 Wochen in Betrieb und was soll ich sagen.......da haben Sie nicht zuviel versprochen. Es glänzt einfach in den Bässen und auch in den Höhen, dynamisch... selbst Studioaufnahmen nehmen deutlich mehr an Volumen zu. Heute dann das Experiment... ich habe das Kabel umgedreht und meine Referenz CD Led Led Zeppelin... Celebration Day... Japan Pressung, nahm noch einmal deutlich, um es salopp zu sagen, an Fahrt auf, noch mehr Räumlichkeit und Dynamik. Fazit: Ich kann den Bausatz wärmstens jedem potenziellen Interessenten ans Herz legen. Ein zufriedener Kunde sagt ganz einfach... DANKE...

Ich bin das Wochenende dazu gekommen, die Kabel intensiv miteinander zu vergleichen und ich muß sagen, daß keines der drei mich nicht begeistert... Das Folienkabel hat eine wunderbare Plastizität und einen schönen strammen Grundtonbereich - es betont alle Eigenschaften, die mir bei guten alten Mono-Aufnahmen gefallen und das soll keine Einschränkung hinsichtlich der räumlichen Abbildung bedeuten... Am CD-Spieler bevorzuge ich das etwas offenere (und sicher auch schlankere) ON.High... Das Rundleiter-Silberkabel ist mit seiner unglaublichen Feindynamik und seinem Detailreichtum eh nicht zu schlagen und läuft am Phono-Stereo. Evtl. benötigt das Folienkabel aber auch ein wenig Zeit, um noch feiner und offener zu werden?
etwas später: Ich muß gestehen, ich kenne kein Kabel, das nach einigen Stunden derart "in die Hufe" kommt - der halbe Meter Silber-Folien-NF arbeitet an allen Quellen mittlerweile fantastisch - die Verbindung Pre zur Aktivweiche klang von Anfang an sehr plastisch und klar! Ich hätte gerne noch zwei "Bausätze" Folien-NF!

It is worth to make the copper and also the silver version, if you have some kind of manual skill. The full silver KIT is working well with full range electrostatic speakers and dynamic speakers with reference resolution, but cheaper systems can be served fully with the copper KIT.
The description for the assembly is perspicuous, can be easily followed and has all the details what is needed for the different processes. The auxiliary materials and packaging of the KIT are very professional. Last but not least: the outstanding price-performance ratio and the pleasure of the own work is the reward of the buyer. Dann hab ich aus aus dem Silberdraht schöne Verbindungen zwischen unserer Rotel Vor- und Endstufe sowie BluRayPlayer im Wohnzimmer gebastelt. Also das hat mich ja umgehauen. Die Cinchstecker dabei sind schon gut - aber weit entfernt von High End, trotzdem sind die Auflösung und die Details fantastisch. Ausserdem klingen alle Geräusche und Sprache so "real" - irgendwie so gerade ! Alles sehr schnell. Und man kann sehr leise hören und hat nicht das Gefühl aufreißen zu müssen. Ist das dieses Kyrogenidings was da so schiebt...?! Ich kenn andere SilberCore Leiter - aber das hier kommt mir schon noch anders vor. Es hat halt nix kaltes und dieses volle Klangbild. Warscheinlich brauch ich dann bald Nachschub :)

Der Bericht des "Kollegen" aus Biberach ließ für die ersten Stunden "Übles" erwarten... Bei mir ging es auf einem Niveau los, das die meisten Kabel nicht erreichen werden. Nach mittlerweile etwa 10 Stunden ergibt sich ein farbiges, energiegeladenes trotzdem feinsinniges Klangbild, das durch seine unaufgeregte Authentizität begeistert.

Hallo Herr Kurz, der Folien-Lautsprecherkabel Bausatz läuft jetzt ca 30 Stunden. Die erste Stunde war furchtbar der Klang war dumpf und flach. Danach öffnete sich das Kabel und benimmt sich nun wie ein kleines Kind, oben etwas unausgewogen, die Geigen einen Tick zu hart. Raum und Tiefe nehmen immer mehr zu, bin schon ganz zufrieden, bis auf den Tick Schaerfe in den Höhen. Meine anderen Kabel sind da etwas zahmer. [etwas später...] Hallo Herr Kurz, so langsam hört man bei dem Kabel die Nadel in den Heuhaufen fallen. Es ist extrem schnell, im Bass kontrolliert, hat eine sehr gute Ortbarkeit und eine räumliche Tiefe, die ich so noch nie hatte. Mein Kompliment.

Das ON.HIGH klingt für meine Ohren zwar nicht ganz so durchlässig, aber sehr musikalisch und ich habe schon des öfteren Silberkabel im Einsatz gehabt, die für meinen Geschmack zu viel "Focus" in die Musik bringen. Das hört sich für mich manchmal etwas "unverbunden" an.
Wie dem auch sei, ich finde das NF-Silberkabel sehr neutral, gleichzeitig geht viel durch und es ist wundervoll verarbeitet. Ich glaube, dass ich mit diesem Kabel das Thema NF-Kabel als erledigt ansehen kann und eine ausgezeichnet Referenz in diesem Segment besitze.

Gratuliere zu diesem Silberdraht! Nun möchte ich Ihnen noch ein kleines Feedback zu den Silberkabeln geben. Nun, ich kann meine ersten Eindrücke des Kabels nochmals bekräftigen. Es ist, einfach gesagt, ein Erlebnis und teilweise eine Neuentdeckung der Musiksammlung. Das kann ich nicht so einfach in Worte fassen denn ich möchte die ausgeleierten Begriffe der Szene hier nicht benutzen. Das hörbare Erlebnis geht darüber hinaus und man vergisst die technische Seite sehr schnell. Die Beschäftigung mit der musikalischen Darbietung nimmt einen in eine andere Dimension. Ich kannte dies schon sehr gut aber hier öffnet sich nochmals eine neue Möglichkeit der Zwiesprache mit dem Werk bzw. den Künstlern. Vielleicht beschreibt es eine Metapher besser: es ist wie wenn ein Kleinkind feststellt dass es alleine stehen kann und nun zum Gehen übergeht.

Hi Matthias, I'm really enjoying the ON.HIGH speaker cables which were a significant improvement on my existing Chord Rumour 2 cables. I always find it difficult to describe what I hear but overall the difference was a more pure and neutral sound. The bass was clearer and fuller and the treble somehow more relaxed yet still crisp. Best of all my very sceptical wife who doubted that speaker cable could really make a difference was completely convinced that there was a real improvement in sound and agreed the extra spend was worth it!

Hallo Herr Kurz, ich bin mit dem ON.HIGH Cinchkabel sehr zufrieden. Die Einspielzeit war kürzer als in der Ausführung als Lautsprecherkabel. Der Klang ist wie das Lautsprecherkabel sehr neutral, dabei hochauflösend und trotzdem sehr natürlich. Ich habe eine klare Verbesserung in der Räumlichkeit, mehr Breite und Raumtiefe. Die komplette Verkabelung meiner Kette (Musical Fidelity A1 CD PRO CD-Player, Sim Audio Moon I 5 Vollverstärker, Blumenhofer Fun 13 Lautsprecher) mit ON.HIGH ist eine klare Verbesserung, vielen Dank!

Hallo Herr Kurz, ich habe das ON.HIGH Lautsprecherkabel nun knapp 2 Wochen im Betrieb gehabt und bin nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten sehr zufrieden. Das Kabel braucht eine gewisse Zeit, um sich einzuspielen und entwickelte sich von Tag zu Tag besser. Am Anfang klang es bei mir ein wenig unausgewogen, etwas vorlauter Hochton und der Bass war auch einwenig holperig. Nun klingt alles sehr harmonisch. Auffällig ist die Natürlichkeit und Musikalität, trotz hoher Auflösung und Transparenz. Das Kabel ersetzt nun immerhin ein Acoustic Zen Hologram II, was im Preis deutlich teurer als ihr Kabel ist. Ich bin im Moment am überlegen, ob ich das ON. HIGH auch als Cinchkabel ausprobieren sollte.

... das Kabel (ON.HIGH) gefällt mir schon sehr gut ohne Polarisierung. An meinem Forsell CD Player hat es etwa das Niveau eines Wire World Silver Eclipse 6 und klingt auch sehr ähnlich. Es ertönt neutral mit einem leichten Schuss von Wärme. Das ist auch der Grund Sound des Forsell. Er ist etwas weich, nie schrill. Im Grunde reicht dein Kabel das nur durch.
Mit Polarisation (ON.HIGH modifiziert) ist das ganz anders. Plötzlich öffnet sich der Raum und eine Vielzahl von Informationen ist zu vernehmen. Die Balance ist jetzt etwas heller, ich würde sagen neutral. Der Effekt ist in etwa mit einem guten Buffer zu vergleichen. Es ist auch mehr Energie und Punch vorhanden...

Hello Matthias, I have received the DAC. YESSSSSS! I got the note in the mail on wednesday the 5. October and picked it up yesterday - Friday. Today I have listened to it. It plays very nicely indeed. It is much more like natural music and less HIFI. It has so good qualities that it is actually difficult for my brain to analyse it. I am pulled to listen to just the music. First impression was that it was polite and peaceful. I asked myself if it lacked the big dynamics. I dont know yet. It does give singers a physical body, which is very good!!!!! In the beginning, I "had to" play very loud so I could hear all I wanted to hear. After a while, I turned down the listening volume. Of course I had to turn the volume potentiometer up a bit more than usual. You informed me already that the gain would be lower than before. As of today, I am satisfied! Thank you! Was mich in der letzten Zeit nervte, war weg! Die Auflösung ist phantastisch, die Bässe haben einen unglaublichen Tiefgang und sind richtig straff. SUUUper. Aber ich bin ganz einfach rundum zufrieden. Diese Kabel hat wirklich keinen hörbaren Einfluss auf den Klang. Tonal, räumlich alles nur richtig. … Glückwunsch, Ihr Lautsprecherkabel ist ein Volltreffer!! Ich hatte bereits ein resonanzoptimiertes und C-37-Lack-behandeltes Kabel im Einsatz. Aber Ihres spielt in einer ganz anderen Liga. Sie erlauben mir daher ein paar kurze Bemerkungen zu meinen Hörerfahrungen: Klangfarben und die Natürlichkeit nehmen zu, das Kabel reproduziert die Musik frappierend schnell. Dabei werden feinste Strukturen und Details insbesondere im Hochtonbereich regelrecht freigelegt. Bei allen Verbesserungen werden aber auch Homogenität und Stimmigkeit der gesamten Wiedergabe deutlich hörbar gesteigert. Das ist MUSIK und kein HiFi! In summa hat meine Anlage mit Ihrem Lautsprecherkabel einen fulminanten Schritt nach vorne gemacht. Das sind nicht nur ein paar HiFi-Tuningdetails, denen man sich besser nicht im Blindtest aussetzt, sondern echte musikalische Gewinne. Jetzt muss ich jedoch leider meinen gesamten Musikbestand durchhören, um nun ganz neue Details in der Musikwiedergabe wahrzunehmen. „Trotzdem“ vielen Dank dafür. Ich denke, ich spare nun schon mal für Ihr Cinchkabel.

… absolute neutrale Transparenz! Keine Kompressionseffekte wenn die Musik komplex wird. Realistische Größe der Instrumente. Phantastische Klangfarben in einer bis dato nicht gekannten Flexibilität und Leuchtkraft. Perfektes Timing. Das Kabel kommt absolut tight auf den Punkt. Eine niemals nervende Auflösung und Durchhörbarkeit ohne Limit. Der letzte Vorhang ist tatsächlich gefallen welcher den Blick auf die Musik verwehrt. Wir hören direkt ins Herz der Musiker.

… alles gut angekommen,danke! Das Kabel ist wirklich sehr gut. Zum Klang kann ich noch nicht viel sagen. Der erste Eindruck ist aber super. Etwas dezenter als meines was mir gut gefällt und die Auflösung ist auch besser. Aber wie gesagt das war der erste Eindruck. Komme leider erst am Wochenende wieder zum hören,dann kann ich sicher mehr sagen. Die Verarbeitung ist aber in jedem Fall genial!

Bin sehr angetan von den Geräteunterstellern die du mir geschickt hast. Würde gern weitere erwerben, wenn sich deren Einsatz Deiner Meinung nach unter Verstärker, Netzteil und Lautsprechern ähnlich genial auswirkt wie unter dem CD-Player.
